We're back, and we're bigger and better than ever. mutopia has a new home at www.mapfortheblind.org. And to top it off, we've got a flash new discussion forum, and a complete absence of ads. Well, maybe we'll stick some ads around the place at some point, but they'll be ads we put there, and they'll probably be for other stuff around here. You see, Map for the Blind is more than just mutopia. Or, at least, it will be. A lot of the other stuff's still being built, but our plans proceed apace. As well as mutopia, Map for the Blind has also assimilated the on-line presence of the Neo-Catholic Church, and Apathy Jack's weblog - which was previously trading under the name Map for the Blind, but has now been renamed November 9. Jack's got plans for November 9, but I'm not going to say anything, lest he accuse me of raising expectations too high. Still, Jack's false modesty aside, I have high hopes. On top of that, there's new stuff afoot. Stuff that we'll hopefully get working in the near future. We want to have brand, spanking new sections for art work and short fiction. Seriously, we're going to do it. I'm not going to let this fall to apathy - if you'll excuse the pun. What else? Well, there's going to be a whole lot more going on in the discussion forums than just mutopia - take a look. And there's other stuff in the making, which I'm sure you'll find out about when it's ready. We've got a lot more storage space here, but I'm sure we'll find a way to fill it. But we still need contributions from you. We need new articles for mutopia (if you've been here before, you know what sort of thing to send. If not, have a look around, I'm sure it'll be obvious). Send articles to hewligan@eudoramail.com. Or, if you've got one of my other email addresses, feel free to use that. The eudoramail account gets truckloads of spam anyway, so that's the only one I'm going to put up on a website, but the other ones probably get checked more often. We also need short fiction and artwork for our new sections. For now, send anything you've got and are willing to let us use to the same email address. We'll sort out the details of that later. And remember, as Jack says: 'Our standards are low.' Meaning, if you've got something, and you're not sure if it's good enough, send it anyway. It probably will be. So, the paint's still wet, and there are still a few under construction signs around the place - as you'll probably notice from some of the links on this page - but we're back, and we're open for business.
